Welcome to St Mary’s Catholic Primary Academy
A Message from the Executive Headteacher and Head of School
Welcome to our school website!
The idea of a website is to enable parents and visitors to find out information about our school, what is going on and things of interest that have already happened. It is a very good way to share information with parents and pupils and it can help cut back the cost of sending out letters and notes to parents.
There is a copy of the schools latest prospectus in the ‘Policies & Publications’ section of the site. Parents should read this even if they have had children in the school for many years, as it will refresh their memories about what we do at St Mary’s.
Any letters that are sent to parents will be uploaded to the ‘News’ section. Parents can read them as PDF files so they can not be lost or forgotten about. School policies and reports from Ofsted can be found on the ‘Policies and Publications’ section, as well as school policies and data about results and free school meals funding.
The leadership structure of St Mary’s is an Executive Headteacher and a Head of School. The Head of School is Mrs V Minihane who is responsible for the day to day management and teaching and learning activities that take place at St Mary’s. The Executive Headteacher has overall responsibility for the management of the school.
We hope you enjoy using our website!
Please be aware that St Mary’s no longer accept cash payments for Dinner Money, Trips, Breakfast Club, After School Club, Milk and Swimming.
All payments need to be made via ParentPay. Thank you to all of the parents and carers who have already registered their accounts and made payments. If you have yet to register and would like help to do so then please contact the school office who will be happy to help.
The only cash that we will be accepting will be for fundrasing, for example Mufti Days, collections for Father Hudsons and our After School Extra Curricular Activity Clubs (the money raised from these clubs is paid into our School Fund to benefit the children).
If you would like any further information please contact the school office.
