The Covid Summer Food Fund vouchers are only available for children with a benefits-related FSM claim registered on or before the end of term (Friday 17 July 2020). This is not the same as the Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM) scheme which provides free meals to all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 when they are attending school.

The national voucher provider, Edenred, has prepared a list of FAQs for parents and carers:

FAQ for Parents & Carers

If you have any questions about the vouchers, please email freeschoolmealsparentscarers@edenred.com with your query.

Vouchers must not be used for age-restricted items, such as alcohol, cigarettes or lottery tickets.

Unfortunately, the Free School Meals team at City of Wolverhampton Council cannot help with queries about vouchers or food provision.
