A big welcome to our Reception children and parents/carers 2020!
We are delighted that you have chosen St Mary’s Catholic Primary Academy for your child and we look forward to welcoming you and your family to our school community. We are very excited that we will have 60 children in our Reception intake in September – and we have over 20 children on our waiting list!
As you are aware, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our school is only open for small numbers of children in our current Reception, Y1 and Y6 and also children of key workers. Therefore, both our transition and induction arrangements will be a little different this year.
All parents of our new Reception children should have received a letter in the post which outlines our plans for induction in September. Please keep this letter safe as it contains important information regarding dates for induction sessions and plans for your child during their first few weeks at St Mary’s. There is also an important link in the letter to our online admission form – please complete and submit this form as soon as possible so we can ensure all details are correct before your child starts with us in September.

School Milk Order – Autumn 2020
In order to help with our preparations for September, we would appreciate if you could complete the form below regarding milk for the autumn term.
The cost of mid-morning milk for pupils is £12.00 for the term. This is a standard charge per term and will cover the period September to December 2020. Refunds will not be given due to the absence of children from school or any INSET days taken by the school.
If you would like your child to have milk in the autumn term, please complete the form below and we will request payment via your ParentPay account when the children return in September. If you have not yet registered your ParentPay account and need help to do so then please contact the school office once the children return in September. If you would rather pay for milk in cash at a PayPoint store then please contact the office when we return in September, who will be able to provide you with a barcode letter.

In order to help with our preparations for September, we would like you to complete the form below regarding school meal choices for the autumn term. It would help us to set up meal patterns for September 2020 by filling in the form below. We understand that your child may change their mind between now and September as to what they wish to choose for the week. If they change their mind when we get back to school in September, please notify the office of the changes no later than Friday 18th September. After this date, your child will have to wait until half term to change their meal pattern:
